General Info:
Marigold is a hardy annual plant that can be grown pretty much anywhere. It grows 12 to 30 inches tall, producing edible yellow and orange flowers in a growing season that stretches from spring to fall. Marigold plants grow nicely in well-drained soil with partial shade to full sun.

Colorful Marigold flowers contain high amounts of carotenoids, especially the valuable antioxidant lutein. Applied as a soothing topical ointment or wash, Marigold can assist the body in maintaining healthy eyes and skin. It also has traditional uses as a supplement taken internally to support gastrointestinal and heart health and normal menstruation. It may also help maintain normal liver and gallbladder function by enhancing bile production.
